General Development Update (aka, "When is the next release!?")
Hey everyone! I've been asked a few times lately when is the next update coming out so I thought I'd give you an update. I've shared some of this with Patrons/Subscribers and on Discord, but realized I should share it here, too, as not everyone is on Discord or Patreon! (If you are already, sorry for the repeat info!)
Short version is work is in progress and I expect the next release to be ready in December. The script is written and I am working on renders. In fact, I have never stopped working on renders and writing, though I have tried to pace myself to prevent burnout.
So, what's taking so long? I'm not sure how much I can share outside of Patreon, but I've been collaborating with the developer of another VN to provide some BBN-related content for this other dev's game. This person is a legend and it was a conversation with them that got me interested in whether I could make my own VN. The first part was handed over about a month ago and I'm nearly finished with the second part, though I've been running into some technical issues around lighting and posing.
I feel like this is a huge honor and opportunity for me, so it was important to me to accept the invitation. Once it becomes public, I'll happily tell you more but for now I'm taking the lead of the other developer and sharing the deets only on Patreon. (But I promise I'll share more here as soon as I can.)
Nonetheless, work on the next installment for BBN continues and I'm aiming to have it released for Early Access in December. I really appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and love for BBN, and hope you can just be patient with me while I keep working on it. Trust me, nothing has stopped and I've been working on writing and renders six days a week for the last couple months.

I promise there will be knot riding soon. Not necessarily in this very next update but within the next two or three. There were a few things I wanted to establish to protect myself on some platform's TOS, and that required some time narrativdly but that's largely complete. Now it's a matter of finding scenes where it makes sense and I've got one planned to happen in Chapter 12.
I appreciate how responsive you are as a developer. I feel better and better about this project so please, take all the time needed.
take your time, if i support some people on patreon, it's not to have something every month or worse to see you burn out, but because what you do is quality, interesting, with good writing and humor, it is patronage; moreover I know that our common acquaintance appreciates your work, hence the collaboration and I hope that there will be others;)
